Custom Schottky Diodes
VDI has an inventory of mixer and multiplier diodes suitable for millimeter-wave applications. In the event that none of our existing stock is suitable for a particular application, we offer custom diode fabrication services. We can also integrate the diode in a custom embedding circuit on quartz. If you are interested in these services, please contact us.

Custom Components
We use advanced tools to design our millimeter-wave products. These tools include 3-D electromagnetic field simulators, harmonic balance simulators for non-linear analysis and microwave simulators for linear microwave analysis. Through our substantial experience using these advanced simulation tools, we are able to design millimeter-wave components that work as expected on the first iteration. This significantly reduces our development time and costs.

However, in the event that none of our existing components is deemed suitable for your particular application, we offer custom design services at low rates. In many cases we are willing to absorb some of the development costs so that we might expand our product line more quickly and reduce the costs to our customers.
